Future plans...
These are just the ones I can articulate
(others are just visuals that pop in and out of my head)
- a Lucy pillow along the lines of the first Lucy block - back then I promised to make another (similar) block and turn it into a pillow for Miranda, but got distracted
- a "French flag" doll quilt to match Miranda's pillow, from the scraps left from the firemen's quilt
- some clothing and/or doll things (but what???) for Charlotte, now that she's noticing Miranda's... always meant to make her a baby quilt, but she really didn't need another one and was crawling by the time I got around to starting
- an orange creamsicle crocheted item of some sort for Charlotte - I bought this wonderful yarn when I was pregnant (only one skein, alas - and another that's pink/white sherbert colored) and swore I'd make her something with it... hat? blanket?
- a quilt for Charlotte containing bits of all of my polka-dotted fabrics, since she's always "borrowing" them. "Simply Quilts" had a recent episode about "crazy log cabin" blocks; that's a very good possibility for these...
- a Lucy-memorial quilt, utilizing some realistic Lab fabric I found in August or September along with many muted, old-fashioned fabrics (mostly small florals) that have been in my fabric pile for at least a year
- a rainbow Fence Rail quilt (one of my earliest ideas; I have some solids/near solids I've been saving)
- a fall-flavored quilt for our bed, using a number of fabrics I've picked up
- nine-patch blocks of the many fruit & floral prints I've collected (mostly with white backgrounds), to be combined into quilts for the girls
- a quilt incorporating the light-blue Alice in Wonderland fabric* I found near the beginning
- a quilt incorporating the light-blue wind-up mouse fabric I found around when I was shopping for the 2001 Around the World quilt (no, it doesn't go with the Alice fabric at all)
- a strip quilt showing bits of the fun kid fabric I've been collecting (like the one I saw in a magazine back in 2001 - probably three columns of strips of kid fabric, separated either by black sashing or something bright)
- some sort of quilt for my parents
* - Edge of the Alice fabric says it's called "Just Makin ' Conversation" by Maywood Studio EESCO; white plus pink, yellow, light marine blue, and a dark royal blue in the outlines and for some details.
