Doll-sized "French flag" pillow for Miranda
Using some scraps from the small decorative quilt that ended up being a 9/11 anniversary gift for our local firemen, I made a doll pillow for Miranda that looks like the French flag. It's trimmed with white lace and has premade ribbon flowers sewn to each corner on both sides of the pillow. On the front, I used variable-color embroidery floss to stitch an "M". At one point, the floss got knotted and I couldn't undo it. That extra knot turned into the decorative starburst.
