Mini doll sized sleeping bag and handpainted bank for Julia's birthday
July 2003: Made a tiny, Kelly doll sized Clifford sleeping bag for Frank & Gina's daughter Julia's 3rd bday, to match the full-sized one I made for her last year. Used a scrap of Clifford fabric left from last year's plus some white-on-red polka-dotted fabric for the inside. Quilted it so the top would fold over more easily. This tiny sleeping bag is shown next to a fashion doll-sized comb and brush (and preschooler-sized Clifford socks!) for size comparison.
I'd also found a plain white glossy heart-shaped bank - the kind sold at craft stores - somewhere along the way. Using regular old nail polish and lots of suggestions from Miranda, I handpainted this bank for Julia's birthday as well.
Alas, on a later visit I saw that the bank had gotten broken into many pieces. Probably fell off the shelf. Don't think it's fixable.
