Fall 2001: Dalmatian latch-hook pillow for Benjamin Fall 2001: Dalmatian latch-hook pillow for Frank & Gina's son Benjamin (Miranda's best male friend). Bought the kit - possibly at Michael's - back in the summer. Did the hooking throughout the fall. In late fall, sewed on a great piece of flannel I'd found earlier: white, with a scatter print of white and black Dalmatians in red fire hats; then slipped in a perfect-sized pillow form and sewed the last side closed. Sewing around the latch-hook mesh was a pain. I don't remember whether there's a picture of the pillow taken during the 2001 holidays. In the picture here, note the blue and red fabric. It's the Clifford sleeping bag I later made for Benjamin's little sister Julia. He'd brought the pillow out from his room when they started camping on the floor at her second birthday party.
